Bus kaboom!

Last August 2010 this joke spread like wildfire: If you want to die, ride a bus in the Phil. And after another bus bombing incident this afternoon, seems like this joke is really on us. Kung dati tinarget mga tsekwa, ngayon pati sariling kabayan biniktima.

While we mourn with the victims and their loved ones, we should as citizens remain vigilant. Our safety should always be our responsibility. Needless to say, our government is not capable of the protection we deserve.

Persistent criminals + this kind of Government = ?

Kung ang baga ko ay maitim dahil sa yosi, I wonder kung anong kulay ng puso nitong mga criminal. I even wondered how they feel at the sight of bloods and tears from victims and their loved ones. Leveling din ang mga ito, they're not just content at killing their recent victims were even burned.

The bombing of the bus this afternoon is an indication that no one is safe since even the most affordable transportation available are subject to this kind of brutality. At around 2pm kanina nasa bus din ako. With my two companion, naitanong namin sa isat isa, what if it was us? Wat if dun tayo sumakay? Well we can only expect probably a wreath from this government and the eternal promise for this not to rest until the perpetrators are put to jail.

Last year, our leaders vehemently opposed the advisory of some countries to their citizens to avoid travelling in the Phil as it may become subject of terrorists attacks. Halos inisa-isa ang mga embassy para magpaliwanag. Until today's unfortunate incident, now they are saying that terrorism is not being ruled out as a motive. Ano ba talaga kuya? Meron o Wala? And just after the incident tsaka na lang magdedeclare ng red alert? Where is USec. Puno, I thought he is the one in-charge of PNP and Security matters? Sino ba talaga?
