Reportsssss + Targets = Month End Today is extraordinarily stressful. Last night I slept past midnight after doing my reports and official calls. This morning, I was awake at 4AM trying to figure out the things I am supposed to accomplish today. I detest month ends. More than the target (nakalampas na kasi ako), the pressure of people calling for reports and updates are almost excruciating. Especially if you have nothing they expect.   This time, my eyes are almost painful and in dire need of a good sleep. We’re way off the target, but were hoping for more for a price we wanted. Isang great deal na lang sana at maaabot na, but we can never bee too greedy. We have already reached the basic target, and that I am really proud for my first birthday month in the institution I am with now. I am wholly blessed believing that I exceeded their egggspectation, that amidst tests, we delivered. Thank you GOD. Indeed you are my “Kalasag”

yes, EDSA people power revolt is one of a kind something that we Filipinos should be proud of our legacy which inspired other countries worldwide the peaceful revolt is a source of inspiration it has given us HOPE when we almost feel like giving up it is an exemplar of a bloodless movement, a quest for change to cut a regime that has engulfed our peace and freedom.  sadly, the very essence of the event is also tainted we, the generation of today are witnesses  how some  used the noble intentions of EDSA  to obtain power and government positions yes, they became our icon of democracy yet, for some they were opportunities.

Last night was our office's post valentines day party. Since bago pa lang ako sa company, it was my first time to attend such gathering. Like others, the intention was to let everyone, for once, relax and escape from work's pressure.  The band was pretty okay, chill lang naman, but they undoubtedly set the mood. In my previous post, I hinted on how stressed I am with office party. Probably due to my previous bosses' influence that even if its about relaxation, I still perceive gathering of such nature as still work, not to mention that I am suppose to attend a family gathering. I really did tried to avoid but to no avail.  The program started with some games. First we were given part of a heart and the mission was to find the other two parts. It  was soso GTKY (Getting to Know You) SLE (Structured learning Exercise) but has given us opportunity to mingle. The second one was sort of a dating game. my very own Armour. Walang idlipan, walang higaan, walang bahid ng antok... trabahong totoo lamang...gising 24 Oras. I have been up for more than 24 hours now. Just had a quick 10-minute power nap this morning. Every hour in the past days at the office was always a rush. We’re almost in the target but still determined to go beyond. This is my birth month and was formally introduced as a regular employee of the company, thus, I wanted it to be special. With all the reports and expectations surrounding, I am expecting another night of bring-home work. Nonetheless, I thank my Higher Strength for giving me enough wisdom and strength daily, my ponytail  and dear parents for the awesome support and understanding and co-employees who never cease to surprise me with what they can do every day. One week more and we are all hopeful for the goal.... To reacccchhhh the unreachable...... car  (joke lang, or at least a well deserved break) !

The trip back to Manila was excruciatingly painful. I wanted to get some sleep and was really cold. There were four infants on-board but that of my seat mate was crying and shouting all throughout. I don't blame the baby. I understand that babies tend to cry to supposedly call our attention to address their discomforts. It seems to me that the parents wasn't at all aware of the repercussions of the cabin pressure on infants especially during take off and landing. If we adults aren't immune to these, so are the infants.  During Takeoff: Cabin pressure changes as the the airplane gains altitude. Some babies may experience ear pressure discomfort because of this. Feeding your child during takeoff will help relieve the pain. The pressure change may also cause the baby bottle to squirt some of its contents as you remove its cap. It is best to hold it upright as you open it to let some air in. Last Feb 6 after plans had been besmirched by several circumstances, I went home and decided to pay old folks a pretty delayed visit. Low on budget, I scourged the internet for online booking of promos. Alas, there is Zest Airways, a relatively new comer in Philippine air travels after it was established in 2008 by AMY Holdings Corporation.   My round trip ticket to Iloilo costs me only P484.00 all in which means i only have to pay for the terminal fees and land transportations which is about P1,600.
