Lost in Emptiness

Just when I wasn't looking for someone, 
When I thought I'd be all alone, 
You brought back my sense of being, 
You brought back everything I believed in.
But now, Emptiness engulfs me
when I rest my weary head
And look to see the empty space
on your side of the bed.
Emptiness, it plagues me
from the moment that I wake
Crushing down upon my heart
with every breath I take.


Now just hoping you’ll come home
And fill me with your presence as I say SORRY.
